Perhaps not quite as good as we’d hoped for a song with a title like that – but then we probably hope for too much. And this is a very nice listen indeed.

#Monday. We know Wallinger made a bob or two from the Robbie cover and probably even more from the Shawn Colvin version of ‘When The Rainbow Comes’ (Armageddon OST, 1998), but in the parallel world that we still want to live in this would have been the one that really made him the big bucks.

Released on Moshi Moshi 13/1/2013 (link)

#Monday. Ever succumb to the suspicion that all you’re hearing are bad songwriters being passed off as good and mediocre pop songs with lazy production being touted as classic examples of their genre? It seems without realising it that we’ve allowed a certain amount of musical faith to ebb in recent days. The debut from Teleman might not shake the funk from us completely, but it’s certainly got some strong medicinal properties that we encourage you to try out if you are suffering from any similar maladies.
